Global stocks remained stable on Wednesday, one day after tragic terror attacks rocked Belgium. 'What we quite often see after these tragic events is the initial reaction in the market is quite negative - we see this flight to safety and gold and the yen become more favored,' said Craig Erlam, a senior market analyst at Oanda, based in London. 'But even by the end of the session [on Tuesday] we started to see a move back into the assets held previously,' adding that the negativity subsided on Wednesday. The FTSE 100 traded higher by 0.09 percent, while the CAC 40 gained 0.42 percent. TheStreet's Scott Gamm reports from Wall Street.
