We spoke with The Street contributor Tim Mullaney on how this particular drug impacted the company's earnings. Gilead reporting earnings of $1.48 a share on $5 billion in revenues. Sovaldi is estimated to become a $300 billion drug, as there are more than three million American with Hepatitis C.
