Gilead Readying for Earnings Report

The biopharmaceutical giant Gilead Sciences (GILD) - Get Report is getting ready to report its second-quarter results, which are set to be released after Monday's close. The company is expected to report earnings of $3.02 a share on revenue of nearly $7.8 billion. Those results would be lower than what the company reported in the same quarter last year. Morgan Stanley analysts expect the company to report disappointing earnings due to lower hepatitis-c product sales because of global pricing pressure and lower market share in Europe.
