General Motors is Recalling Some Cadillac, Pontiac Sedans
General Motors is recalling more than 60,000 vehicles in North America, which makes it the latest round of recalls this year for the automaker. The biggest recall outlined by GM on Saturday affects over 46,000 vehicles. The recalls include the 2008-2009 models of the Pontiac G8 and the 2011-2013 models of the Chevrolet Caprice PPV left-hand-drive sedans imported from Australia. GM says the ignition switch key may shift from the 'run' position when touched by the driver's knee. The company is aware of one crash related to the problem, but no injuries have been reported. Another recall covers 10,005 Cadillac CTS-V sedans from the 2004-2007 model years and Cadillac STS-Vs from the 2006-2007 model years . On some of those vehicles, the fuel pump module electrical terminal may overheat. GM says it knows of no crashes or injuries related to the problem.
