General Motors' CEO Mary Barra announced the automaker will be debuting a vehicle featuring intelligent and connected technologies in about two years. During her keynote address at the Intelligent Transport System World Congress in Detroit on Sunday, Barra said Cadillac will build GM's first car that features vehicle-to-vehicle communication in the 2017 Cadillac CTS. Barra said the vehicle will be able to talk to other cars equipped with the same technology to avoid crashes and reduce congestion. The car will also feature Super Cruise, GM's automated driving technology. Barra said GM, which has come under fire for safety issues, must be an advocate of safety technologies like these.
