General Electric (GE) - Get Report has underperformed the Dow Jones Industrial Average this month, but that may soon change. For almost all of April, the industrials giant has been trading in a narrow range. If the stock is going to surge, it needs to break last week's high of $31.35. On the flip side, if the stock moves below its April low, which was reached last Friday at $30.30 a share, the stock will remain stuck in its trading range. GE shares currently trade at $30.85. The stock is a holding of Jim Cramer's charitable trust, Action Alerts PLUS. TheStreet's Scott Gamm reports from Wall Street.
