Gap Under Pressure, Coupons.com Plunges, Aeropostale Rallies
Investors still are cautious about Greece potentially withdrawing from the Euro, conflict in Ukraine and new signs of weakness in China's economy.
Futures are pointing to a higher open for U.S. markets but investors still are cautious about Greece potentially withdrawing from the Euro, conflict in Ukraine and new signs of weakness in China's economy. Shares of Gap could come under pressure. The apparel retailer reported sales in January at stores open at least one year or more fell 3% compared to a 1% gain last January. Shares of Coupons.com are expected to plunge after the digital coupon company forecast Q1 revenue that well below Wall Street estimates. And Aeropostale shares could rally after the retailer of teen apparel reported better than expected net sales for the quarter ending February 1st. Aeropostale also appointed a new CFO.
