U.S. retailers that were once kings with teens have slumped as digital shopping and domestic spending are interfering with brick & mortar players' game. But that hasn't stopped Gap stock from jumping 15 percent so far this year, coming on a string of beats as the company keeps ahead of competitors like Urban Outfitters and American Eagle. Gap shares took a quick dive Friday on news that same stores sales were slumping, but even that might not be enough to hold the retailer back -- ambitious expansion plans include efforts to push into markets including Austria, Slovenia, and China.
