GameStop Is Launching an Unlimited Rental Service
GameStop (GME) - Get Report is giving the people what they want - unlimited rentals on used games.
The new concept is called PowerPass and costs $60 for 6 months, allowing customers to swap out as many games as they want until they can't possibly game any more. The gamer is also allowed to keep the final game they check out. In order to acquire PowerPass, one needs to be a Power-Up Rewards program member. This should be successful in driving more store traffic, making users physically swap out older games for new ones.
Does this service sound appealing to you? Customers can begin signing up on November 19th.
