Fresh Off The Boat's Eddie Huang On Entrepreneurship Success

Eddie Huang is the author of 'Fresh Off the Boat,' the memoir which ABC's (DIS) new sitcom by the same name is based. Thursday morning, Huang checked another item off his bucket list, ringing the opening bell at the Nasdaq (NDAQ) stock market. In what may be one of the longest comebacks in Hollywood history, it took two decades for a show with a full Asian American cast to air on network television. The term 'Asian American' though brushes a wide stroke to a vast group of people with distinct cultures, history and language. Huang says he works closely with the show to highlight his personal stories and not reinforce stereotypes. Huang went from being a marijuana dealer to successful restaurateur and shared his insight as an entrepreneur.
