In a recent interview with CNBC, Wilbur Ross said he plans to take a proactive approach toward international trade. Ross highlighted both employment and exports as his primary focus. "We'll be aggressive on trade because we know that deals that have been made historically have resulted in the great loss of manufacturing jobs," said Ross. Renegotiating NAFTA with both Canada and Mexico will be his first step. "The first on our agenda is NAFTA because we think it makes sense to solidify your own neighborhood first," he contended.
