French voters will go to the polls on Sunday when it is expected to, reluctantly but overwhelmingly, appoint pro-European centrist Emmanuel Macron as president following one of the most unusual and divisive election campaigns the country has ever seen.
Emmanuel Macron is expected to receive about 62% of the vote, well ahead of the 32% for anti-EU and far-right rival Marine Le Pen, according to a poll released Friday by Elabe, which conducted the study on behalf of BFM TV and L'Express.
