Foxconn is considering making a $7 billion investment in the United States. The Apple (AAPL) - Get Report supplier is reportedly planning to establish a U.S.-based LCD manufacturing hub, which could create as many as 50,000 jobs. The hub would likely be based in Pennsylvania.

Terry Gou, chairman of Foxconn, said "Pennsylvania is active, and I urge other states to act more quickly or I will sign the contract with Pennsylvania."

The final decision will be made after negotiations with U.S. officials. This comes shortly after Foxconn invested $8.8 billion in China.
