Former White House Chief Strategist Steve Bannon talks Google (GOOGL) - Get Report and Facebook (FB) - Get Report in Hong Kong. Bannon was speaking at an investor forum hosted by CLSA when he made the comments about the Silicon Valley icons.
"I was leading the effort within the White House to turn Google and Facebook into public utilities" - Steve Bannon
Bannon also discussed a number of issues at the event, including tax reform & immigration. The former Chief Strategist said that he thinks tax reform might not happen in the next few months and defended Trump's approach to immigration suggesting it led to "rising wages for blacks/Hispanics".
