Elon Musk wants to get you from New York City to Washington D.C. in 29 minutes
The always colorful and Twitter-happy Tesla (TSLA) - Get Report CEO Elon Musk recently tweeted that he has received verbal government approval for a Hyperloop that would connect New York City and Washington D.C. A Hyperloop rail line travels on air to transport goods and people at nearly 700 mph.
While Musk admitted that the project still has a long way to go, his The Boring Company has already broken ground on a tunnel that could transport cars at 125 mph via electric sleds.
