Ford, MetLife & AT&T Will Ring Up Big Gains Says NFJ Fund Manager
Ford is a cheap stock compared to its peers and lower oil prices will help the overall auto industry.
Ford is a cheap stock compared to its peers and lower oil prices will help the overall auto industry, said Burns McKinney, Portfolio Manager for the NFJ Global Dividend Value Strategy. McKinney added that Ford did not go bankrupt during the financial crisis because it is conservative with its cash even though it invests heavily in R&D. He said he is bullish on AT&T because of its historically high dividend yield and the fact that it will not have to spend as much on Capex going forward. Finally, McKinney is positive on MetLife's stock, saying it unfairly trades below book value and continues to raise its dividend.
