Ford: January Sales Likely to be Hit by Winter Weather, Adding 350 Jobs

Ford's President of the Americas Joe Hinrichs says January's sales figures will be impacted by the unseasonably cold weather across much of the United States in January. Hinrichs says Ford was already seeing the effect of sales in the Midwest and on the East Coast earlier this month. The latest cold snap in the Southeast will also likely have an impact on the January figures. Separately, Hinrichs says Ford is adding 350 jobs and investing $80 million in its Louisville, Kentucky plant to increase capacity by 15-percent to build more super duty trucks. The Kentucky plant will also start building the 2015 Lincoln Navigator this summer. TheStreet's Ruben Ramirez has more from Wall Street.
