Ford Motor says COO Mark Fields will replace Alan Mulally as CEO on July 1st. Executive Chairman Bill Ford says the board of directors wants Fields to continue a culture of "being able to adapt to anything, being nimble, quick and transparent." Ford says the automaker looked at external candidates for the top job but came to the conclusion that Fields' was the top choice. Separately, Ford says the automaker has plans to grow in Asia, the Middle East and Africa. Ruben Ramirez reports.
