For the Super Rich, Super Yachts are the Favorite Toys of the Moment
Super yacht sales hit a record as the wealthy look for news ways to seek adventure.
Yachting is gaining in popularity as a way to enjoy far flung adventures, according to Brett Anderson, Editor in Chief at Robb Report magazine. Anderson says super yacht sales hit a record in some categories last year, led by the U.S. market. He says the wealthy pay on average $10 million for a super yacht. Anderson says the yachting crowd has become more adventurous, traveling to interesting ports for their getaways.
