Pepsi and Coca-Cola Are Doing Two Completely Different Things on TV During Super Bowl

Talk about two opposing marketing plans. 

With consumers continuing to shun traditional sugary soda, PepsiCo (PEP) - Get Report  is only advertising its zero-sugar beverages -- such as its new zero-sugar soda -- during the Super Bowl. It marks the first time ever that PepsiCo hasn't advertised its regular full-calorie beverage during the big game.

Additionally, the company has taken to the airwaves to promote its new premium water called Lifewtr.

Meanwhile, rival Coca-Cola (KO) - Get Report has only run ads during the Super Bowl focused on full-calorie soda.
