FOMC Meeting in Focus With Multiple Markets at Key Levels

Market composure and asset class allocation will be key topics for the trading Week Ahead as investors and traders position into and around the FOMC Meeting and Conference on Wednesday. The focus will be on commentary related to interest rates and inflation, in addition to the employment environment. Friday is Quad Witching which lends to increased volume and volatility as traders must close open positions across four asset classes. Earnings are a bit light, but just like last week, there are over 20 sell-side broker conferences taking place and that always lends to some good, intraday trading as management sometimes offers updated guidance and insight into industry trends.
