Markets brace for action in the Week Ahead as the calendar is packed with domestic and global economic data and earnings. Headlines and trading will also be driven by the FOMC rate decision, Brazilian run-off election and European Bank Stress Results. TheStreet’s Jill Malandrino points out, domestically, in addition to the FOMC, traders will be focused on manufacturing, housing and consumer data and earnings. Just about 32 percent of S&P 500 companies report with a concentration in the healthcare, energy and consumer sectors. The energy and gold trade will also be important to watch as both commodities are trading at key levels. Oil oversupply and the U.S. dollar remain the key issues in energy and gold, respectively.
