Florida Gov. Rick Scott's pledge to fix the state's economy keeps working. If only when it comes to winning elections. Scott narrowly edged Republican-turned-Democrat Charlie Crist on Tuesday. Scott won re-election by a margin of 48% to 47%. It was the second time that Scott won a close election. Four years ago, he defeated Democrat Alex Sink by more than 61,000 votes. But in both elections the former CEO stressed his plans to help the state's economy recover. In 2010, Scott's motto was "Let's Get to Work." This time around it was "Let's Keep Working." Scott maintained his policies helped cut the state's unemployment rate. He told voters they would be turning back the clock if they elected Crist. Crist was governor when the economy soured.
