Five major U.S. airports will ramp up Ebola screening starting on Saturday. Travelers from West Africa will have their temperature taken at customs and special attention will be given to travelers from Liberia, Guinea and Sierra Leone. The five airports include New York John F. Kennedy, Newark Liberty, Chicago O'Hare, Washington Dulles and Atlanta Hartsfield-Jackson. Nine out of ten travelers from West Africa arrive at these five airports. The White House acknowledged that it's impossible to stop potential Ebola patients from traveling, but every bit of screening helps. White House press secretary Josh Earnest said, 'This is almost by any measure a very small percentage of the traveling public who will be subject to these additional measures. The enhanced screening doesn't ask travelers from other continents whether they could have been in contact with the virus, at least not yet. It also doesn't including other hub airports like Miami.
