With so many revisits to already successful franchises and a few originals with promise, it's shaping up to be a solid season for video game publishers.
This year's Electronic Entertainment Expo, or E3, kicks off in Los Angeles on Tuesday, June 10. With so many revisits to already successful franchises and a few originals with promise, it's shaping up to be a solid season for video game publishers. Here are five of the biggest games likely to headline next week: Ubisoft's Assassin's Creed Unity, Activision's Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare and Destiny, and Electronic Arts' The Sims 4 and Star Wars: Battlefront. Destiny is one of the most hotly anticipated and is on track to make histodry as the most expensive launch ever for a video game. Development, marketing and other costs could spike as high as $500 million.
