Federal Reserve Wraps up Meeting, No Change in Interest Rate Expected

The Federal Reserve wraps up its meeting today. It is widely expected there will be no change in interest rates. Until the recent jobs report, there were some who though the Federal Reserve would raise rates at today's meeting but the report was so dismal that it eliminated any thought of an interest rate hike today. Twitter (TWTR) - Get Report  has invested about $70 million in Berlin based SoundCloud. The tech website Recode says Twitter confirmed the investment but not the amount. The investment could mean that Twitter is working to bring music to its users. The possibility of a 'Brexit', Britian leaving the European Union continues to get a lot of attention on Wall Street. Recent polls have indicated the vote will be close when it takes place in 8 days. Britian's finance minister George Osborne says Britian leaving the E.U. would lead to tax increases and budget cuts.
