No major earnings reports are expected Friday but traders will be watching for fresh economic data. In the morning, at 8:30 eastern, Import and Export prices will release. At 2 pm, the U.S. Treasury will reveal its monthly budget. It'll show the account of the surplus or deficit of the federal government in March. A couple of Federal Reserve Bank presidents are expected to speak. Richmond's Fed President Jeffery Lacker will share his economic outlook when he delivers a speech at 8:45 a.m. eastern. Minneapolis' Federal Reserve Bank President Narayana Kocherlakota will speak in the afternoon at 12:20, Eastern.
