Stop Being So Hawkish, Janet Yellen!
The same goes for her friends inside the Federal Reserve.
"Federal Reserve speakers like Janet Yellen need to back off their hawkish tone," said Real Money Contributor Stephen Guilfoyle. He said the Fed could have been gradually raising rates all along. He believes that aggressively raising interest rates this year will hurt the economy.
Guilfoyle also noted that that Yellen's comments on employment don't sit well with him. Guilfoyle said people aren't satisfied with what Yellen calls "current conditions." But he also said he doesn't think incoming President Trump will remove Yellen from office before her term is up.
