It's a busy day on Wall Street on April 8 with Federal Reserve minutes, oil inventories and the kickoff to the first-quarter earnings season. The Fed will release the minutes from its March meeting mid-afternoon. No new information is expected in that release, though further explanations as to why GDP forecasts were cut will be of interest. The petroleum inventory report for the week ended April 3 will be released by the EIA mid-morning. Alcoa (AA) will kick off the first-quarter reporting season after the bell Wednesday. Expectations are for S&P 500 companies to report the first year-on-year profit decline since late 2009.
