What were people talking about in 2014? Well, Facebook has a good idea, based on what people were posting on the site. The company released top 10 lists for 2014, based on the number of posts, comments, likes, photos and videos shared. The top five most popular topics around the world are, the Ice Bucket Challenge. Number four was the death of actor, Robin Williams. Number three was the presidential election in Brazil where President Dilma Rouseff managed to hold on to the office despite some stiff competition. Two on the list was the Ebola Virus and its spread to the Untied States. The most popular topic around the world in 2014 was the World Cup where Germany went on to defeat Argentina. And the most popular topic in the U.S. this year was the Ebola Outbreak.
