Facebook will report first quarter results for 2015 on Wednesday and expectations are running high.
Facebook will report first quarter results for 2015 on Wednesday and expectations are running high. Analysts are predicting strong earnings of 40 cents per share, an increase on last year's results of 34 cents per share. In the last 12 months Facebook stock has gone up around 40 percent. Some analysts have called the stock over priced but top line growth continues to increase. Facebook hasn't yet unlocked the revenue generating potential of its additional platforms such as Whatsapp, messenger and Instagram which could further boost its stock price. The social network has seen increasing success in its ad products and growth in mobile users over the last few quarters. Further acquisitions are also being predicted for 2015.
