Facebook Continues to Grow, Nearing 2 Billion Users Worldwide

Facebook brought in $8 billion in revenue in the first 3 months of this year, driven by advertising. Its ad business grew 50% over last year.

Facebook (FB) - Get Report brought in $8 billion in revenue in the first 3 months of this year, driven by advertising. Its ad business grew 50% over last year. The world's largest social network is now just shy of 2 billion globally. Apple (AAPL) - Get Report will create a billion dollar fund to do more manufacturing in the United States. CEO Tim Cook told CNBC that is also plans to fund programs to help people learn about writing computer code to create apps and the program will launch later this month. The end of Obamacare may start today. The House of Representatives is expected to vote today to repeal the Affordable Care Act, known as Obamacare. Republicans say they have the votes to pass it but it will must go to the Senate, where passage is less certain. $8 billion was added to the bill to help those with preexisting conditions.
