Exxon Mobil Suffers the Same Falling Profit Concerns as Competitors

Exxon Mobil says fourth-quarter earnings came in at $1.91 a share, 13% lower from the same period last year. Revenue of around $111 billion dropped 3.3%. On Wednesday, Marathon Petroleum and Hess reported a drop in net income of 17% and 20%, respectively. Sluggish production of crude oil and natural gas and weaker margins are hurting the bottom line.
