Standing desk maker Varidesk is keeping an eye on U.S.-China trade relations.

With Varidesk products manufactured in Asia, the global trade debate is front and center for CEO Jason McCann.

"Higher costs are a bad thing for all people," he said. "We're also looking at how we can continue to manufacture where our fans are - today it's in Asia, tomorrow it can be here in and other countries depending on our growth."

Meanwhile, TheStreet's Jim Cramer thinks the U.S.-China trade tensions will make it tougher to pick stocks, according to his latest Real Money column.
