European stocks are mixed, ahead of the release of Federal Reserve minutes from its Oct. 28 to 29 meeting later today. In London Bank of England minutes show that two of its nine-strong monetary policy committee voted at a Nov. 5 to Nov. 6 meeting to raise rates beyond their historic low 0.5%. In Paris nuclear power plant maker Areva tumbles after announcing that project delays are forcing it to review strategy and funding - and scrap its 2015 and 2016 forecasts, and in London Royal Mail posts a warning about the impact on Amazon (AMZN)’s own delivery service on its business.
