European stocks were lower on Wednesday as investors digested a fresh batch of corporate earnings and ahead of today’s vote in Greece on further reforms demanded by its euro-zone creditors. In London, semiconductors including ARM Holdings and Imagination Technologies lost steam a day after Apple’s weak fourth-quarter forecast. In Oslo, Telenor fell after the Nordic region’s largest telecommunications company posted earnings that fell short of expectations. Among gainers, EasyJet rose in London after the low-cost carrier gave a bullish full-year profit projection while inBrussels, Belgian blue chips Barco and Deceuninck both gained on strong first-half earnings.
