The European Central Bank left its benchmark interest rates unchanged and kept its monthly pace of bond purchases steady, following its April meeting on Thursday. Its deposit rate remained in negative territory at minus 0.4 percent. The central bank is still purchasing 80 billion euros worth of bonds in an effort to lift weak eurozone inflation, which stood at zero percent in March. TheStreet's Scott Gamm spoke with Stewart Warther, U.S. equity and derivatives strategist at BNP Paribas.
