Europe has pulled the trigger and filed antitrust charges against Google (GOOG). The case is the biggest competition battle since its pursuit of Microsoft (MSFT) more than a decade ago. The European Union charge focuses on complaints that Google uses its dominant internet search engine to favor its own services above rivals. Google could face a fine of $6 billion dollars. Intel's profit was up 3 percent but revenue was flat. Intel has suffered from a declining market for personal computers. CSX benefits from lower fuel prices. It's profit rose 11%. It also increased its dividend and boosted its stock buyback program.
