Encana Shares Climb Thursday on Surprise Beat
Ecana shares climbed after topping analysts' earnings projections by reporting a profit of $0.04 a share.
Encana (ECA) - Get Report shares were up Thursday after the company's third quarter results topped analysts expectations. The company had been expected to report a loss of a penny a share, instead the energy producer reported a profit of $0.04 a share. Encana also posted revenue of $979 million, also well ahead of analysts' estimates.
