In case you haven't noticed, Tesla (TSLA) - Get Report has been on the minds of more than a few Wall Street investors as the electric carmaker remains at or near all-time highs, well past that now infamous $420 stock price.
The latest big moment? Tesla recently delivered its first Shanghai-made Model 3 in China with all the usual pomp and circumstance of a Tesla event, even including an employee proposal to his girlfriend. The delivery occurred just 357 days after production began at the plant at the beginning of 2019.
Needless to say, it's been a big year for the tech billionaire and entrepreneur Elon Musk and 2020 looks to be even more memorable.
In November, Musk unveiled Tesla's futuristic Cybertruck, an electric pickup truck, in front of a live audience in Hawthorne, California.
It was not the kind of smash hit that Musk or other Tesla executives were expecting.
"Oh my f*** God," Musk muttered after an aide hurled a metallic ball at the front window of the truck in real time - a test that was intended to show its durability - and instantly damaged it.
Musk also got himself into a Twitter feud with TheStreet's very own Jim Cramer, after Cramer compared Musk to "P.T. Barnum" during a live interview on the floor of the New York Stock Exchange.
Musk quickly responded on Twitter, calling Cramer a "simulation," with Cramer later joking that perhaps he is a simulation.
