Elisabeth Moss Isn't the Only Handmaid's Tale Actress Packing Serious Star Power
In a move that probably caused the heads of Netflix (NFLX) - Get Report and traditional TV networks to lose some sleep, streaming platform Hulu swept the 2017 Emmy's with its actors, directors and writers receiving numerous nods. The win marks a serious turn in the entertainment industry as streaming platforms are proving that are capable of far more than content aggregation.
Before scoring her Emmy win for lead actress in the widely popular Hulu drama "The Handmaid's Tale," Elisabeth Moss rose to prominence for her supporting role as Peggy on AMC's "Mad Men." Though Moss is arguably the show's best known actress, she's far from the only cast member to have a breakout appearance before appearing in the "The Handmaid's Tale."
"The Handmaid's Tale" packs an all-star cast that includes "Gilmore Girls'" alum Alexis Bledel, "Shakespeare in Love's" Joseph Fiennes, "Chuck's" Yvonne Strahovski, "Orange Is the New Black's" Madeline Brewer and "The Leftover's" Ann Dowd.
