Elio Motors is Re-Inventing the Wheel, Literally

Elio Motors Founder and Creator, Paul Elio, gives TheStreet a sneak peak at the new three-wheeled, environmentally friendly, 84 MPG, American made, "Elio". Elio's mission is to provide affordable transportation to those commuters seeking an alternative and create nearly 1,500 American jobs. The Elio will cost $6,800 and is engineered for an anticipated 5-Star Crash Test Rating. Pep Boys will provide service for about 90% of Elio Motors' customers. Nearly 20,000 people have already reserved. Elio is planning to have a network of stand-alone retail centers in the top 60 markets across the country.
