Eli Lilly Beats on Earnings, Revenue:

Eli Lilly (LLY) - Get Report  said it is raising its projections for the entire year as its newer drugs are doing well. The new Chief Executive says the company is reviewing its options for the animal health unit.

Sears Stops Selling Whirlpool:

Sears (SHLD)  will no longer sell Whirlpool (WHR) - Get Report  appliances after a pricing dispute and changing marketing dynamics fractured a partnership that stretched back more than a century. Dow Jones Newswires reports the struggling department store chain has stopped carrying products made by the biggest U.S. appliance maker, including Maytag, Kitchenaid and Jenn-Air appliances. Sears will deplete the Whirlpool inventory currently in its stores.

President Trump Meets Lawmakers:

President Donald Trump will head to Capitol Hill this afternoon for a lunch with lawmakers. Tax reform will be on the agenda.
