Tuesday, November 4th is Election Day, and with some seats too close to call, uncertainty over the outcome of the midterm elections could rattle markets. On the earnings front, Chinese Internet giant Alibaba will report results before the opening bell, in its first full quarterly report as a publicly traded company. Following its record-breaking $25 billion IPO in September, the company's shares have remained 45% above its debut price of $92.70. Online travel company Priceline Group and high-end fashion brand Michael Kors will also release earnings results before the market open. On the economic calendar at 8:30am eastern, the international trade balance for September will be released. And at 10am eastern, factory orders for both durable and nondurable goods will be out.
