Consumers loaded up on tech gifts during Black Friday and Cyber Monday. An expert at Intel (INTC) - Get Report Security is offering advice on how to keep those new gadgets -- including smartphones, laptops, PCs, streaming sticks and smart home devices -- safe from hackers. Gary Davis, a consumer security expert at Intel Security, said there are easy way to protect connected devices, such as always running up-to-date antivirus software. For streaming media, Davis said consumers should only download applications from the stores that sell those products. He also said that consumers should always reset passwords after purchasing electronics.
