Earnings Scorecard: Looking Ahead to Facebook and Netflix
Netflix reports on Monday, and analysts expect $0.83 a share on $1.27 billion in revenue. On Wednesday, analysts expect Facebook to report $0.24 a share on $2.35 billion in revenue.
Several major market players reported earnings this week including IBM and Goldman Sachs. 83 companies in the S&P 500 that have reported earnings so far, and 60% were above analyst expectations while less than 23% were below. For revenues, 51.8% were above expectations and 48.2% were below. Netflix reports on Monday and analyst expect $0.83 a share on $1.27 billion in revenues. On Wednesday analyst expect Facebook to report $0.24 a share on $2.35 billion in revenues.
