Dunkin Brands Teams With Drew Brees to Open Louisiana Restaurants

Dunkin Brands (DNKN) - Get Report is teaming up with New Orleans Saints star quarterback Drew Brees and existing veteran Dunkin franchisee Vik Patel to develop as many as 69 new restaurants in Louisiana. There are currently only a dozen Dunkin' Donuts restaurants in Louisiana, but the plan is to open new locations in New Orleans, Baton Rouge, Shreveport, Monroe and Alexandria. The move is part of Dunkin's plan to expand its footprint in the Southeastern section of the country. Dunkin Brands is in the process of recruiting franchisees in Arkansas, eastern Texas and Mississippi, the company says.
