Duke Energy Posts Mixed Earnings Results
The energy company posted a mixed bag of third-quarter results Friday.
Duke Energy (DUK) - Get Report reported mixed third-quarter earnings results Friday, and raised guidance for the year to the higher end of its previous range. The company reported adjusted earnings of $1.68 a diluted share, ten cents above analyst estimates. Meanwhile sales for the period came in at $6.82 billion, about $10 million below what analysts had forecast. Duke now sees 2016 adjusted earnings at the higher end of its prior outlook.
