Shares of Dr Pepper Snapple Group (DPS) were lower during the trading session on Tuesday after the company reported an earnings miss for the fiscal fourth quarter and issued downbeat full-year guidance.
The beverage company posted earnings of $1.04 a share, which missed analysts' estimates by 2 cents. Revenue of $1.58 billion for the period was slightly above forecasts.
For fiscal 2017, Dr Pepper sees earnings per share between $4.44 and $4.54, which is below analysts' estimates of $4.74 per share. Full-year net sales are expected to grow about 4.5%.
