Dow Chemical Gets Upgrade, Bearish Calls for Boeing & EMC
Bearish calls for Boeing (BA) and EMC (EMC) but an upgrade for Dow Chemical (DOW) in Thursday's Analysts' Actions. A downgrade for Boeing from Credit Suisse to NEUTRAL from OUTPERFORM. A big cut in its price target as well to $133 from $162. The firm says Boeing's 'free cash flow boost will be slowed by a delay in cost-cutting efforts.' A price target cut for EMC to $30 from $32 from Pacific Crest Securities. The firm did however reiterate its OUTPERFORM rating on the stock. The analysts there lowered estimates citing 'execution risks increasing' and the company starting to face 'increasing overlap with Cisco.' Dow Chemical (DOW) was upgraded at Deutsche Bank to BUY from HOLD. The price target was also bumped a buck to $58 a share. The firm says 'risk/reward and valuation are attractive.
